When you say 'Windows hotkey combinations', do you mean all the windows hot keys or just the hot keys that are used with the windows key?

Interesting article anyway.

My OS is Windows XP Pro SP2. A week ago, the F5 key suddenly started opening a
Search window. This is a nuisance because I use F5 for another program,
which still works, but a new search window also opens each time it is
pressed.

I have tried closing all programs down to a bare desktop, but that didn't
help. I did a System restore back to a date before the problem started, but
that didn't help either. I searched the Registry using "hotkey" as a keyword and didn't find anything that seemed relevant.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks, Colin
